How Coach Brought Education & the Work Bag Together

With New York Fashion Week coming to a close, Coach followed up the week by announcing their new philanthropic initiative. The Coach Foundation will donate more than 1.4 million to the Future Project, a non for profit that equips high schoolers with resources for their education and beyond. Coach Ambassadors Selena Gomez and Michael B. Jordan will make appearances as Mentors within some of the partnering schools.

The initiative is hoped to inspire, and prepare younger generations to believe that the American dream is for the taking and that their leadership and progress can and will change our country.

With the Spring 2019 runway showcasing a free-spirited, all-American, urbanized approach to fashion, the working bag is featured in many looks. From the 'box' work bag, to the 'tote' work bag, the theme of education and the lady bag was ever present.

We love that Coach has brought this latest fall trend into the spotlight, and coincided it with giving back to the community and our country in the long run. Education is a basic right that is purely fundamental to the success of any society. So, this season when we wear our work bags we will take a moment to reflect on our own education, where education has taken us and the power that the work bag holds.

At Clutchbags we have the perfect work bag for any busy day, from a colorful backpack to a more understated lady-bag. You can find them all on Clutchbags.com our space for all thing American Made Fashion & Style.
