March Happenings:NYC

March in NYC

I am sure many of you are excited for March as it marks the end of a long, cold winter season. Even though spring will not arrive until the tail end of this month, we are beginning to see the weather in New York City warming up. I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to spring because I'm tired of the cold, and it usually slows me down and prohibits me from going out to have some adventures in the city. There are always numerous activities to take part in during every month and season--so I thought I might highlight a few of them here, as just the thought of springtime is always so invigorating during March. So, check out my mini list and make it your own.

The Orchid Show

The New York Botanical Garden hosts the Orchid Show, which features a design by Lily Kwong and a captivating collection of orchids. They also offer food, drinks, and specialty cocktails for your delight. Although I haven't attended this exhibit, I will surely put it on my list of things to do in March. Many of my friends have gone, and they've returned with fantastic stories. I've always enjoyed going to exhibitions and seeing the lovely objects that each artist produces via their art.

Enjoy a $20 show this month, and check out what is on Broadway. And if you're having trouble deciding what to carry as a little bag or clutch, be sure to check out the Clutch NY wristlet in black suede or silver foil lambskin~ fancy enough to add a little style and pizzazz to any outfit.

St.Patrick’s Day Parade

Every year, the Irish community organizes the traditional St. Patrick's Day Parade here in New York City. Beginning at East 44th Street and finishing at East 79th Street, the parade marches straight up Fifth Avenue. Maybe think about taking your friends to this event and see what is going on--then you can cross this off your bucket list. I will be attending with some friends so we can watch the fun and see what tradition looks like in NYC, and hanging my

over my shoulder will be the Maxi Tote, so if I need to do some errands on my way home, I have my everything bag with me.
